Yesterday, we decided to drive to nearby Lake Pleasant. We were hoping to see lots of wildflowers. We actually didn’t see any at the lake, so we took a drive on an unpaved road near the lake. It was interesting.
We found what we thought was a small lake, but it turned out to be an outlying portion of the much larger Lake Pleasant. It was interesting but not nearly as spectacular as the main part of the lake. Some people were out there fishing, either in small boats or on the shore.
Here are a few photos to give you an idea of what it looks like in Arizona at Easter time. The temperature yesterday reached 88 or 89 degrees.
When we returned home, I went outside and took photos of some of the flowers (not wild) in our backyard.
