The city where I live has a wonderful community of writers. As far as I can tell, we have somewhere between 80 and 110 writers, many of whom have published books or are hoping to publish in the near future. We have numerous places where people can meet authors, buy their books, and learn about their writing techniques, etc.
One of those places is the Daniel Boone Regional Library here in Columbia, Missouri. I’m thrilled that they have invited me to give a book talk on Monday, September 29th, from 7:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. I’m still working on my presentation, and hope to talk about about my books, my author blog, and about writing mysteries. I would love to have a lively Q&A session, too. Since I’ll be speaking again at the Boone County Historical Society on December 20th, I’ll try to vary my topics a bit at each venue.
If you are in the area Monday night, I hope you can come to my book talk. Please help spread the news. It’s kind of scary for me to give book talks, but it’s actually easier to speak to a larger audience than to a smaller audience.
Thanks!
